This page explains how we decide what to write about on Toolphyra, how we research the tools we cover, and how we keep our content honest even though we earn money through affiliate links. If you want to understand how a review actually gets made, this is where to look.
Last updated: July 2026We created Toolphyra because too many software review websites publish repetitive content, rely heavily on promotional language, or prioritize sales over genuinely helping readers make informed decisions. Toolphyra exists to be different from that. Our goal is simple: help people figure out which tools are actually worth their time and money.
We focus on tools that are genuinely useful for solopreneurs, marketers, and small business owners, across categories like AI tools, SaaS, SEO and blogging, web hosting, email marketing, cybersecurity, online business software, and video and design tools. We pick tools based on what our readers are actually likely to be searching for and trying to decide between, not based on which ones pay the highest commission.
Before we write about any tool, we look closely at:
We do not just repeat marketing claims from a company’s own website. If something sounds too good to be true in a company’s pitch, we try to dig a little deeper before including it in our writing.
This is the part we care about most. Affiliate partnerships, advertising relationships, or commercial considerations never determine our editorial opinions, ratings, or recommendations. If a tool has real downsides, we say so. If a well known or heavily marketed tool is not actually a good fit for most people, we will say that too.
You can read more about how our affiliate relationships work on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Software changes often. Prices go up, features get added or removed, and companies change their plans. We do our best to keep our content accurate, and if we notice something has changed or a reader points it out to us, we update the relevant page. That said, we would always recommend confirming current pricing and features directly on the company’s own website before making a purchase decision.
We are not perfect, and if we get something wrong, we want to fix it. If you spot an error, an outdated detail, or something that seems unfair or inaccurate in one of our articles, please tell us. You can reach us at contact@toolphyra.com, and we will look into it and correct it if needed.
If you have any questions about how we put our content together, feel free to reach out anytime.
